This was an experiment in attempting to create a 'moire' effect without actual movement, using netting over the painting. See also The Angel (Cat. No. 261) for a large scale collage that plays with a visual effect, Arachne (Cat. No. 211) for a similar approach, as well as Bloedewodd (Cat. No. 175) for more complex collaging.
