6 scenes in the life of St. Richard, on three wooden panels with plywood. A triptych referencing stained glass/church windows, 15 inches and 30 inches and 15 inches, hinged. Painted in response to a festival at Chichester, however anxiety about how the picture would be viewed consumed the artist to the extent that the night before submission he elected to paint grids across the central images - obscuring the fine detail.
