Illustration of Lady Godiva. P.B.B. writes"The bashful attendant perhaps reflects the classical sensitivity of covering up with fig leaves - displayed in this and other paintings." There is more detail in the horse (and cat) than the rider, and further intricacy in the geometric decoration a step on from 'pixellated' squares. Reminiscent of 0075 - Eliduc. Signed:- Pavlos Benedict Brand. Painted at the same time as 'Parvarti' Cat. No. 0048 and 'Moonlight on Yellow Rose' Cat. No. 0068.
