This image is of a local taverna, preparing for the lunchtime trade, and in typical early style of palette knife and planes. See also 'Taverna, Eretria' (Cat. No. 0081) which appears to be the same scene but with different treatment, and Cat. No. 0203, 'Eretria Waterfront with Net mender'. [ Unframed. On reverse of 'Farm Cart, Cat. No. 0148.]
